An engineer who fell in love with the craft of making.
Trained as an Electrical & Electronics engineer. Took an unusual detour into education, then design, then enterprise consulting. Now spends his nights wiring AI into the workflows of small, ambitious teams.
Always at the frontier.
Podcasting
Co-founded a small podcast studio out of Kuala Lumpur. A current affairs show. A spoken-word poetry show. A show by creatives, for creatives. Most people in Malaysia had never listened to a podcast yet, let alone made one. I was, as they say, early.
Content production
Joined a social enterprise making learning materials for Malaysian schoolkids — think Khan Academy but homegrown. Found my sweet spot: systems thinking applied to creative work. The pipeline of it. The craft of it. The both-at-once of it.
No-code
Taught myself no-code during the pandemic. A prototype I built for a foundation beat three professional software houses in a formal evaluation — and would have saved them tens of thousands. Most people I told had never heard the word "no-code" before.
Enterprise systems
Spent a stint inside enterprise architecture consulting and L&D at a global manufacturing software company. Learned how slow large things move, and why. Came out with a sharper instinct for what to leave out.
AI automation
Running a tiny studio building production AI automations for lean teams. The pattern from 2014 has held: arrive early, stay curious, do the boring work of making it actually run.
What's in the workshop.
n8n in production, Make for prototypes.
API-first. Local for sensitive data.
Notion for the human side of the loop.
